- As you begin to develop fonts of your own, you will
- want to generate a "report" to obtain a hard copy
- of the contents of any particular file. This
- facility is supported in FONTASTIC by use of the
- REPORT1 and REPORT2 text files provided with the
- system. The hardcopy generated in this manner will
- produce a report format like those found in
- Appendix B(Available fonts).
-
- To provide a hardcopy report for Scale 1 and Scale
- 2 files, you will find two text files on the
- FONTASTIC diskette number 2:
-
-
- REPORT1 - Report for Scale 1 files
-
- REPORT2 - Report for Scale 2 files
-
-
-
- In order to generate a report, do the following:
-
- 1) Insert FONTASTIC disk 1 in drive A and
- disk 2 in drive B.
-
- 2) Make drive B the default drive. (A>B:)
-
- 3) Invoke IHSPRINT. (B>A:IHSPRINT)
-
- 4) Select one of the "REPORT" files as the
- source text file. Enter REPORT1 to select
- a Scale 1 file and REPORT2 for a Scale 2
- file.
-
- 5) Tab to the "Pre-Processing COMMANDS"
- field and enter --
-
- ":LOAD2 xxxxxxxx.xxx"
-
- where "xxxxxxx" is the font file
- name you wish to print.
-
- 6) Initiate the printing by pressing F1.
